It will depend on what compiler is used and what compiler settings.  Since
crafty comes in source code form, you should be able to produce a very fast
version for any target CPU.  Which brings another question to mind...

Does any compiler specifically target the AMD chips?  Seems you might be able to
get a significant benefit is one were available.
