What is all this talk about 1GHz and 650Mhz modems??? I'm confused...are you
speaking of processor speeds or high speed modems? Modems only facilitate
quicker access to and from internet servers. It doesn't have any baring on the
performance of your chess programs.
Chessmaser's King engine(CM6000) is truly an extrodinary engine as it is the
only program that has been able to draw a match against my Fritz6a on equal
hardware(AMD 800)just from pure tactical brute force alone. CM6000 is the only
program that wins or draws when forced to play the Kings Gambit as white no
matter what program it faces! So yes CM is truly an unpredictable and deadly
program.
