Rebel + EOC seems to be a better approach than the other software available now.
At least in my machine it seems to play the opening phase very accurately. When
it is out of the book it calculates the move, and I haven't seem Rebel in a bad
position after my games (of course I'm not a master, only a 1900-2000 ELO
player, but I'm used to train against Rebel using the ECO myself - at least I'm
not crushed at the opening!).
Hiarcs old book is a bad one, I would not use it to play; the new one is fair,
though.
