kKNB is a definite unavoidable mate if you know how to do it, as is kKBB.  There
is _no_ mate with kKN or kKB, though amusingly enough, if you give your opponent
another knight or bishop then he's in a worse position, and can get mated :) It
isn't forced though, and it requires unbelievably stupid play.

i.e. knKN

[D]k1K5/n7/1N6/8/8/8/8/8 b - -

(though he can also give mate)

There is no _forced_ mate with 2 knights, but it is possible if your opponent is
pretty dumb, i.e.

[D]k7/2N5/NK6/8/8/8/8/8 b - -
