That's an answer wich is easy to give someone like Chessmaster because of it horsn and wistles and nice pieces and boards. This intire line of chessmaster is created when it was new to use sounds and 3d figures Chessmaster 2000 was one of the first 3d chessprogram's in colour Besides the first version of Batle chess. Chessmaster2100 was one of the first chessprogram's wich had spoken language before Chessmaster was Grandmaster chess from Capstone (only Capstone already used Soundblaste or Adlib cards In chessmaster 4000 came even spoken language of Antoly Karpov But in the sametime Chessmaster 4000 came out also Kasparov's gambit came out wich also had spoken language and even small video's So later on Fritz4 came out also with 3d figures Chessmaster developed as a COMERCIAL program cause this kind of program is a program is wich you also buy when your not a strong player or a computerprogram fanatic. The only thing I think wich is not good is to put too much trust in Chessmaster as an anelyzer (Or adviser) This is one thing they did wrong when they started with the Naturallanguage advice He never gives you one of the best lines for the opening. I Always like to have the program's like chessmaster for the wistles one of my favourit program's in this genre is the Batlechess series espacialy the enhanced version I also do think that in the nea future the wistles get important again when the the stronger chessprogram's have reached there maximum. I gues I could,nt give a better answer then this
