I used to stuggle long and hard for words to describe some program I bought for days, before submitting it to Steve for inclusion in the Computer Chess Reports. Than a couple of experts like Steve Lopez or Komputer Korner would answer my critique with their well known genius and expertese. Then this forum came about, and we all realized (especially, those of us, who were actually paying the auful full price for these dang programs), hey! - why struggle with words that only a few fanatics will read anyway, when we can just post our thoughts, quick & dirty here, and get 10 times the amount of critism, insults, and contempt, (especially for our bad spelling, or some other non-related part of our hard striffin for comments), then we ever got over there! In fact the worst times I have here now, is when I do some post, and nobody says nothing - not a word, good or bad! It really is true about that bad writer who couldn't quit after 40 years - because, after-all, he was already famous:) Larry T.
