Hi Harald, You are right about playing other programs like fritz and Junior. The only problem is I have one computer and not much time to play a bunch on 30min games by hand :) I'm sure you understand. Anyways I got the final score between shredder 4 and shredder 2001. (I only named it shredder2001 cause I couldn't think of anything else) the final score was as follows: shredder2001 vs. Shredder4 13.5-6.5 (+9 =9 -2) So not to bad for the new settings that's for sure! Like you said I should try to play other opponents first, but I think the results still hold a "shred" of meaning. Get it, "shred" hehehe. OK bad joke :( Anywho I think I'll use these new settings for now on. Bye-Bye. Eric
