That conclusion was arrived at by comparing opening and midgame time/depth
factors in given positions. The 6000 is 10 to 25 % slower than 5500, the 7000 is
slower still. Oddly, in low matrial endgame positions, the 6000 is noticibly
faster than the 5500.  OzsO has tried all 3 at icc. For speed of search, and the
added bonus of rapid change of game setup during actual play, cm55 is still
being used rather than the others.  It does seem that it is he most succesful
icc cm player :)
