Confirmed, but it depends on the position. In general faster in the endgame.

With Crafty's "bench" command I get:

Crafty v17.10 (2 cpus)

Raw nodes per second: 532677
Total elapsed time: 130
SMP time-to-ply measurement: 4.923077

Anyway, it seems to be not fast enough :-((.
But wait for saturday! There is another one of these Chessmasters...

OTOH I still do not understand why Crafty was ignoring the open h-file in the
second game. Possibly I'm a to bad chessplayer (I guess the most worst in
universe :-)).
