I am >curious what others think of this! > >Regards, Jeroen Well, IMO there isn't need to take the agreement very serious: this only add much excitment to the tournament, comparing the performance of both players and program, yet considering that it occurs in a national championship, the players must be encouraged to these challenges! (money is the paliative/incentive to go on). By other side, i consider something unfair to charge with a defeat to Van der Sterren (posible solution: game is not taken in count, Fritz and player don't score, and final score of both is relative to games played; ok ok difficult an answer, but very welcome for me this type of events).
