This is true if you want to convert a CMG file (the Chessmaster saved game
format) to PGN. You load it into the Game Room (for example) and can then save
it in PGN. You can also save any single game in PGN immediately, rather than
saving it first as a CMG.
The database is different, however. If you do a query on the games that you are
looking for, you can then select them all (CTRL+A) and export them to PGN by
selecting "Export Selected Games" under the "File" menu.
