I used to day-dream alot about how good computer chess players can be. But it was all wishfull thinking. Computers have taught me that chess is not as weird and wonderful as I might have thought. It's closer to arm wrestling than I wanted to beleive.(And I used to phone programmers the whole time with all kinds of questions and ideas) Now I go in for the software, and I think that sentimentality over the old days of chess computers, is futility and dissilusionment. I could have thought about better things. Stuart Taylor
