Georg,

That is what is so much fun about computer chess.  Yes, I think that todays
programs could beat the snot out of the old programs on slower hardware even
with queen odds.  I am sure that somebody out there with old systems will post
the results.  The same can be done with knight or bishop odds when pitting Fritz
6a on a 800 Mhz Athlon against Gnuchess on a 66 Mhz 80486.
