Hi Jeroen, thanks for your response.  No, I cannot change all this in the
drivers I use.  I´ve tried the latest drivers from ATI which did have much more
tweaks but then Toca2 couldn´t run anymore (yes chess is not the only leisure
time program on my computer) so I changed back to the shipped drivers.

I´m happy for the time being and when I´m in de mood I´ll experience with the
latest driver from ATI.

In the mean time I´m wondering if someone else with both an ATI Xpert99 and
Fritz6a is having troubles like me.
