After going through some other messages by Mark, I discovered that he mentioned that Tablebases Depth in Fritz 6a should be set to "0" in order to allow Fritz 6a to search, or to use all the tablebases. I've set it to "0" and now Fritz 6a plays the endgame correctly using the tablebases. This raises the question, why did Chessbase set the Tablebase depth to 3 instead of 0, since 0 is better than 3?
