In connection with this issue, I'd like to ask:
Let's say an IM manages to reach some brilliant wins against Shredder 4: Does he
have to keep those games secret, or must he replace Shredder's name by N.N. to
be able to publish them (assuming the license conditions are still the same as
with Shredder 3)?

I'm asking this, because it's my opinion that pure chess moves and the
information which appears in a PGN header, should not be copyrighted or
otherwise restricted in any way. Of course, if there's doubt about the
correctness of such a game score *after it's been published*, it should be
possible to place a comment or contradiction - but to restrict a publication
beforehand, is censorship.
