I had no real problem with overclocking my PalmIIIx. I tried a frequency that
the processor could not support, and I had to reset the device. I even think I
lost all my data by doing so, but I had hotsynched just before, and restoring
all my data was really easy and fast. Just had to press the "HotSync" button
actually.

I you run your match again with the overclocked Palm, the result could very well
be reversed.

You can expect 100 elo points more from Genius if you can, as I do, overclock
you Palm to 26MHz with no wait-states. It becomes almost 2.6 times faster, that
really makes a difference.

Your PalmIIIe should support the overclocking. Download AfterBurner 2.2 and just
give it a serious try.
