Hi guys, I'm just listening to TWIC TV http://www.canalweb.net/cwsite/dif_weekinchess/default.asp?une=diagonalangtv Where at about minute 20 Ray Keene Announces: 2001 (2003, 2005.....) The winner of this years Brain Games World Championship will play a match against a "Machine". At the same time there will a "Candidates Tournament" to decide the 2002 challenger for the GBWC. If this happens, what a great "shot in the arm" it is for Computer Chess. Somebody Here should already be talking to Ray Keene about how to "CHOOSE" the "Machine" opponent. We don't want ClubK mucking it up now do we, & I'm sure Frans, Ed, Dr Bob et al et al, would like to be there in 2001. What do you recommend we do about this Team? We could be cynical & argue about it. We could use our "nouse" & make sure it's the best thing that's happened here since.... I'm going back to listen, Tina Long
