Well, Counterplay has had its rating reset, and the first established rating is
in:
Blitz 2740 15 6 3 24 2740 (11-Apr-2000)
Weee, included a win over a rebel tiger clone! :))))
I have amy working with both cpus, but tablebases seem to be busted. Question:
If in .amyrc I have the tbpath in uppercase, could that be a problem? This
thought comes to me because it IS a linux program orginally, and linux is case
sensitive.
Game of the rebel tiger is below.
counterplay (2740) vs. BountyHunter (2844) --- 2000.04.11 17:03:04

<Begin rant>
Its weird, but I just don't understand why the Marshall is in computer's opening
books. What I mean, is why do they play it as black. Most of the best play
will lead to draws, and computer tend to avoid drawing lines if they belive they
have better. Unfortunatly, black gives up a pawn and if he doesn't take alot of
the draws he gets punished. :) Personnally I think all computers should play
1. ... c5 against e4. Even if that means braving the closed sicilian.
<End rant>
