http://www.videodiscovery.com/vdyweb/dvd/dvdfaq.html is a useful source on DVD. I think I saw there somewhere that the standards require that all DVD readers must be able to read 2-layer DVDs. So, current readers are good for over 8GB/disc - it's apparently just a question of getting DVD-writers that will create the information. G
