Hello Leonid,
Just ignore the fact that the "block" returns to 5 after setting it.  If you
play Fritz after setting the depth to 3 you will notice the depth is actually
limited to 3 even though when you go back to check the "Depth level" is still
says 5.  Note that this does not limit the "selective search" to 3.
