But I havn't seen any evidence for this number up til now. I'm not even convinced that such a number exists, because it may make a difference if you double the speed for a program with 1500 elo, or if you double the speed for a program with 2500 elo. BTW, I don't think that a stupid program of say 1500 elo can be made a 3000 player only by doubling the speed of the computer. Kind regards Bernhard
