They charge money for anything and everything they can. Why ?

I really believe there is only one answer, they like to spend it on
expenses.

This Paris tourney is being sponsored by Titus and the Paris Bourse.
These are both well off, they could easily have got a few more thousand
dollars in sponsorship and canceled the $1000 entry fees. But they
didn't. They still want the $1000's.

They could get more sponsorship and pay prize money, but they don't.
Never have done.

The inescapable conclusion is that they like the money so much that they
will charge us whatever they can get away with.

The next inescapable conclusion is that somehow this icca is a business.
Businesses are run for the benefit of their owners. It all seems very
obvious, no ?
