Levy has been extremely active in computer chess. He has written books about it,
organized tournaments for it, played matches against computers (he's an IM),
etc. But I don't think he knows how to actually write a program.

I thought it was common knowledge that Lang wrote Cyrus, but I don't have any
proof. So you may be right.
