I'm not 2300+, but i find it much easier to play against aggressive programs. I find it harder to beat chessmaster or shredder. But fritz and rebel seem to be more interesting to play against. Actually, chessmaster is the most annoying and hardest to beat. I usually choose to play against the other 3.
