Neither Rebel Century 1.2a nor Rebel ECTool which I tried in this position wanted to play this but correctly choose 50. ..Bh8-g7 It is purely my own bright idea, it seemed a bit more active move than shifting the Bishop on its diagonal. This did not seem very important but this certainly isn't a non-sensical move; the difference is that now the Bishop has a check on f8 and the Black Knight can safely escape from d8 after c6-c7. In the variation with 50. ..e4 this goes wrong as far as I could see because after 51. Bd6+ Kc8 52. c7 then in case of 52. ..Nd8-f7 follows 53. Na5-c6 with a huge evaluation for White. After 50. ..Bh8-g7 actually there is still only a small plus for White and the draw looks secure at least in this variation for Rebel Century 1.2b. Thanks for the game, Ed!
