I think 31.Nb6! would win easily. E.g.: 31...Kf7 32.Nd7 Ke6 33.Nb8 f5 34.f3 Kd5 35.Nxa6 e4 36.a4 Bh4 37.Nc7+ Ke5 38.Bd2 exf3 39.gxf3 Bd8 40.a5! Bxc7 41.a6 Bb8 42.axb7 f4 43.Ka5 Ke6 44.Kb6 Kd7 45.Ba5 g5 46.b4 +- 32...a5+ 33.Kc4 with the weak a- and c-pawn where the blackking cannot go to d5 looks also fine for white. MUCH better than in the game. 33...a4 34.Nb6 a3 35.b4 +- 33...Nd8 34.a4 combined with b2-b4 and making the white a-pawn a passed one is also won IMO. Any successful defense ideas?
