No doubt about it. YAHOO! generally has about 4,000 opponents online on
weekends and about 3000 most weekdays. The price is reasonable (free). You may
create as many accounts as your greedy little heart desires ( I have about 375
so far), and in addition, the opportunities to interact with a "vibrant" cross
section of humanity is most satisfying.

However, if you insist on playing yourself, please refrain from the advanced
lounges. 99.99% of all top rated players in yahoo use programs; and if you
should be so foolish as to try anyway, limit your games to super blitz (2/0
time control).

Unless you happen to be one of those "average" strength players here who can
beat a program. HAHAHHAHA

Good luck and look for me in yahoo; my latest handle is
"a_highly_unethical_attorney"
