My thought on the Fixation-Winboard interface works like this: for a mixed pc-mac lan, use the winboard protocol to communicate over the net. If winboard's io can be redirected to the target computer on the net (using IP address), then it should work. btw, Amateur is running well with Fixation now, but we need to work on the protocol a bit to get it reasonable for others to implement. Wonder if it should be modelled more on Exachess or Winboard? Will
