I would like to help you too, but - I am not a Windows guy - I do not have a Windows machine The code I distributed with Amy works fine on the Solaris/Sparc SMP machines I have access too. It also worked fine on the Solaris/x86 machine Amy played on in Paderborn. Since Eugene's TB access code is not MT-safe, maybe the pthreads mutex locking is broken? Dann, maybe you can try some other locking primitive available in the Win32 API (critical sections?). Sorry for my ignorance about Windows... -Thorsten
