After nearly 44 hours Chest finds that there is no mate in 23 (K7/600 350MB).
I'm not sure whether I will wait until the mate is found.  But it cannot
be very far away, now, since in the last depth Chest slowed down considerably.

A forced mate of not minimal depth should be in the reach of programs,
I would expect.  What does crafty say, when the disfunctional black pieces
are deleted, and without any EGTB files?  Does it find that mate?
