A computer account on FICS has been using a winboard program named Remus 3.0. Since it was a new program (the account usually uses something else) and I had never heard of it, I asked the operator where he had gotten it. He said he had been browsing the web and stumbled upon an execute file and a book. No other information was available. I got the URL, but by the time I tried to download this mysterious engine, not even the directory that had contained it existed. In any case, this engine is very strong. Positionally it plays very well, and has a nice plus score against Insomniac (I can't tell how much of it is based on its hardware advantage). Does anybody have any information about this program? Or is the entire thing a hoax? :) James
