Here are two I am puzzled about:

 2: PIII 700 Mhz 128 Mb ram

Statistics for EvilSilicon(C) (Last disconnected Tue Apr 18, 06:38 2000):

rating RD win loss draw total best

Standard 2502 78.3 12 4 12 28 2502 (15-Apr-2000)

 1: Temporarily running SHREDDER 3.0 - Disregard notes 2, 4, 5 & 6!
2: Engine is a combined effort of 3 programmers (work in progress 3 years!)
3: If any other engine is temporarily used, NOTE 1 will reflect this. Please
check NOTE 1 often. Shredder and other engines are used at times.
4: Our engine is not based on any other freeware or commercial chess package.
Please email bryanb@bytes.net with any problems or suggestions.
HARDWARE: Pentium III 600e overclocked to 800mhz on ASUS Motherboard.
5: We readily admit that often our wins are due to the amount of horsepower
behind the engine rather than simply engine strength itself. There have been
accusations of late that we are trying to mislead people in regards to which
engine is used.
6: This engine is by no means a NEWLY developed project. It is accomplished
in the spare time of 3 people, which means progress can be slow. It is,
however, new to the ICS world. Again, please check NOTE 1 often for the
current engine operated.

 [snipped irrelevant notes]
-------------------------------

Also mysterious Remus mentioned by James in the other post...

Bad news is you can configure Tiger, Shredder, or make a nice Crafty clone which
will not whisper/kibitz any info about itself... hard to believe something that
strong and unknown suddenly appeares.... and if 3 unknown, strong engines popup
out of nowhere....

(the above are just my doubts :)

Any info on those really appreciated.
