Yes, I wrote that book (as well as a good many others, both in
Dutch and in English). Thank you and some others for your interest
in my books. By the way, I get the impression that many chess
programs are written in C, such as the excellent TSCP program
(Tom's Simple Chess Program) by Tom Kerrigan.
It may interest you that I wrote my chess program 'queen'
in C++. If you are careful, you can benefit from many
useful C++ language concepts without sacrificing effiency.
