I have the previous version of Chess Openings and it was what prompted me to purchase CA5. What I liked about it was that you could add and save variations to the database and then printout an ECO like table showing the various variations and the evaluations of each line. Using this feature, I added some lines that I found in NCO for the openings that I play and then created tables which I store in a folder for study. It used the Dragon engine for analysis which apparently has been replaced by Crafty in the new version. Steve
