I've don't know what clock speed. > The static RAM chips used for the cache has its upper limit at 350 MHz. So Athlons up to 700 MHz run the cache at half the core speed, like older PIIs and PIIIs. Faster chips, 750 to 850 MHz, run the cache at 2/5 the core speed. Above that you have to use 1/3 the core speed, so a 1 GHz Athlon will have a 333 MHz cache.
