MChess has the most attractive playing style, no doubt.
SSDF is not the right area for MChess, human play is its aim, although I am sure
MChess 8 is stronger than SSDF presents.

Don't forget that MCP8 is now more than 18 months old, a period in which all
other (commercial) programmers have improved and released their latest engines
so it is no surprise when they overtake MChess. Anyway I would be interested to
see MCP 8 play on current fast machines. SSDF only takes new programs on new
hardware, so unfortunately this will be no new entry.

However, there are rumours that MCP 9 is under construction. I hope this is true
and we will celebrate the comeback of the year. :)

Go MChess, go Marty! :)
