of course Rebel9.
It is stronger, knows more about chess, has nice features and is
constructed for serious analysis.

Fritz5 is more for the mass market, for newbies and those who like
language comments.

Just my 2 cents. But when I wanted to know something about a position
I use
Rebel
Hiarcs
Mchess
Shredder and

later Fritz5.

And the order is the order of usage for each program on my machine.
Often I don'T need Fritz at all.
