I don't know of any 'shredder' that is noplayed, although it is possible. I have an automatic interface that keeps up with the last 24 games played, as I state in my finger notes. If someone plays more than 4 games out of that 24, they get noplayed. Other than that, the only 2-3 people on my noplay list are simply people I consider obnoxious. But the above argument can be debunked quite easily. Just log on and type 'search crafty' and look at the last N games (N is your choice). Well over 1/2 of them are against 'computers'. So if I am trying to protect my rating, by avoiding computers, I am not doing very well. The 'complainers' you mention are simply those that don't want to abide by my formula and number of games policy. > >Is this merely a "You noplayed me so I'm gonna trash you in my notes" situation? typically, yes. People that do that will _never_ get off the noplay list either. I don't subscribe to that quite as literally as they do. IE my right to freely swing my arms stops right at the tip of your nose. They don't believe there is any limit on their freedome whatsoever, even if it conflicts with _my_ freedom. There are enough "good" operators on ICC that I ignore the bad actors. You will notice that most of these 'whiners' say something like "I am proud to be on the noplay list of over 20 strong computers including ferret, crafty, etc..." If several have noplayed them, you can be pretty sure that all of those can't be wrong, and then one guy doing that can't be right...
