That's a very good question.
Most of the tournaments where Shredder performed badly it ran on an AMD cpu, on
Intel the performance was almost always at least ok. There is no real reason
against AMD, which means I haven't found anything wrong or broken in Shredder on
AMD, but I'd always prefer Intel, but I guess just for psychological reasons :-)
