I wasn't paying close enough attention. I think your sentence from Brazil makes sence, but I had to think about it for a while because it didn't translate to Englich well. It might read like this: If it was a snake, we'd get bit, because it was so close we didn't see it... But I'm not sure if I got that right. Pete
