Both Junior 6a and Crafty 17.10 are optimized for longer time controls and not
blitz 5 minute chess. Fritz 6a is very good at the faster time controls. I ran
an eight game match on my 333MHz PII with Junior 6a vs Crafty 17.10 at 10min per
game with a second 10 min time control and got 3wins,3losses,and 2draws making
it a dead heat. Crafty defends very well and both programs play to win.
