Personally, I tend to disregard most computer-computer tournaments and matches that use fast blitz time controls. Blitz is fun to watch and play but it's not really chess, IMO. Typically both sides will make serious errors and the last one to make an error loses. Not having the programs ponder compounds this problem. Standard time control games are much more interesting to me. You're less likely to see elementary tactical errors, and the errors that do occur are much more interesting and instructive, in my opinion. --Jon
