You really seem to be haunted by bad luck in your quest to order my book
from a brick-and-mortar retailer -- I am awfully sorry for that ... :-(

Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/3528057327/) currently
lists the book as being in stock, while Barnes&Noble.com offers it at a
20% discount to the actual list price
(http://shop.barnesandnoble.com/bookSearch/isbnInquiry.asp?isbn=3528057327).

Moreover, you might try to call Morgan Kaufmann directly. The telephone
number of their order department is (800) 745-7323.

I do not know how well the book is selling (no numbers from the publisher
yet). But I am pretty sure that they will quickly complete the next
production run after selling out of the last one.

No, it should be as easy as ordering any other book in the US.

Actually, one of the main reasons for choosing Vieweg Verlag as
my publisher was that they operate under the Bertelsmann umbrella
and team up with Morgan Kaufmann for international distribution.
My logic was to ensure smooth worldwide availability of my book for
all interested parties thereby. Unfortunately, this does not seem
to work out as well as intended for the time being ... :-(

I hope you are able to resolve your ordering problems soon.

Good luck and take care,

=Ernst=
