Thanks for your very helpful post. I get all the same messages as you, except
for a curious "0 piece tablebase files found" before "5 piece tablebase files
found" and when I load a simple KR (w) vs. KN (b) in a crafty vs. crafty
winboard window, only black accesses the tablebases. I tried this with Machine
Black, and then Machine White, and again only black accessed the tablebases...
Do you know why?
