Hi again, Pete! >Has anyone seen this book yet? If this book is selling so well that the stock >is allready gone, then another printing would be good. The current distribution problems for my book "Scalable Search in Computer Chess" (hhtp://supertech.lcs.mit.edu/~heinz/node1.html) seem to stem from the loss of the initial shipment to Morgan Kaufmann. As already mentioned before, the shipment was sent in late December 1999 and disappeared somewhere "in transit". According to an email from the publisher Vieweg Verlag that I received today, the bad news is that this loss amounted to almost _half_ the copies of the initial production run. :-( But everybody interested in the book may rest assured because Vieweg Verlag commenced a second production run and reprint of the book last week. Let us all hope for a smooth and successful shipment of the new copies to Morgan Kaufmann in the US. Cheers, =Ernst=
