the windows Hiarcs 6 engine module which is available for use with Fritz
4 or 5 is separate from the actual Hiarcs 6 for DOS chess programme. It
works perfectly fine in both fritz 4 or 5 although you cannot alter its
settings (i.e. aggressive, normal , solid etc) as you can do in the
actual H6 for dos. When the Hiarcs 6 module is used in Fritz 4 or 5 it
will use the relevant Fritz book as per your choice. The so called bugs
in fritz 5 will affect the Hiarcs 6 module the same as they would affect
Fritz 5 itself.the cheapest place to buy hiarcs 6 module over the
internet is from gambitsoft (http://www.gambitsoft.com)for about $58.the
rebel 9 will, unfortunately, not work as a part of any other chess
programme.
