But I've never come close. The one he offers has allways been better. If you must try, see the crafty.doc file because it does have complete instructions on doing the job. Just off the top of my head, this would be a basic way to do it, but it ignores some of the important posibilities (I'd have to look up how to do): book create filename.pgn 60 but do look it up in the doc file first, because you can do a better job that way. But Bob's book will probably be stronger. Pete
