Forgive my somewhat short answer, but my cable connection is stalling and I'm
using a slow modem, which isn't doing wonders for my phone bill.

I agree with the response by Pete. The book.bin on Hyatts (or Corbits) site is
definately the best solution, unless you have a large pgn collection. I only
have about 80000 quality games so far. It might be better to change its book
selection, which means altering books.bin or bookc.bin. There's a start.pgn to
be found at the aforementioned site that can be used for that purpose. I haven't
tried changing it yet, but I intend to, as watching the Ruy Lopez bores the
living daylights out of me. The Crafty.doc will (hopefully) explain how to
create a book. There's also online help if you start Crafty in text mode.
