Dr. Bob does not need me to defend him. I have been tempted now for some time to
get this off of my chess.
Crafty Source code is free: You pay nothing for it. All of you self appointed
critics should be parachuted off to the moon, oops that's gonna hurt !.
He is a college professor teaching this kind of stuff for goodness sake and I
have observed him taking verbal punishment and assault on his integrety. It must
stop damn it ! How much abuse should he have to put up with. ? I for one feel
very lucky to gain the insite and knowledge from his knowledge . I have used
this media for that reason and he has answered all of them, A college proffesor
taking time to respond to this ole retired EE on some mundane chess questions.
geeze what an opportunity we have here.

Here is what I am afraid of when I first came aboard this forum There was no Dr
Bob. I heard folks pleasing for him to come back, no Dr Bob. Then one day his
voice was once again heard from on this forum and I have followed _everything_
he says since then.

I am very pleased he is here and if you keep up the garbage were gonna loose the
insite of probobly the most astute and experienced man on this planet in
programming chunks of silicon for the purpose of playing _chess_

I have considerable respect for all of the programmers both commercial and
_amateur_ (which many are not Diep and crafty for example comes to mind).

Go for ten Xeons Dr Hyatt, more if can be afforded, build the strongest
artificial intelligence chess machine you can. The goal is to achieve the
strongest chess player in the world ! I think you will be the first to achieve
this goal, but alas, there will still be the same doubting folks. :)
